Ciate Mini Mani Month - Mini Calendrier Manucure

Wow!!! I'm back!! Ha I don't know what should I start to say. It had been a while that I didn't update my blog at all.

Since I officially a Office Lady in Year 2012, I found that it's actually quite hard for me to keep blogging as there's many distortions for me to blogging. Well I just hope that this time I don't have any excuses for me to abandon my blog. As I do miss the time I blogging, that's why I back to update my bloggggggggg.

Ok, Let's get it started with this Ciate Mini Mani Month that I got from Sephora on 1 Jan 2014 at $SGD 55. I once tried the tester of ciate nail polish - Sugar Plum at Sephora before the Christmas Eve, I loved it and this set of 18 nail polishes and 6 caviar metallic pearls and glitters plus funnel was priced at SGD 59 that time. My rational told me not to buy as I really didn't need that much nail polishes. But I actually super regretted that I didn't get this set when I was on the way home.

Then I went to Sephora on 1 Jan 2014 again to see this set whether in stocks. YAY, It's even more cheaper, 4 dollars cheaper.
HAHA I immediately grabbed this home!!!

Frankly, I don't use much nail polishes. The skill i applying nail polish is actually sucks!! HaHa I don't care. I need this Ciate Mini Mani Month. I actually watch a video for how to apply nail polish properly on youtube because of this.

This is actually looks like a BOOK!!! I love this design!!!

Long Time No See!

Hi guys,  Long Time No See!!!

Today I just wanted to share an eye look using some Darling Girl Cosmetics eyeshadows.

The products used:
Benefit Cosmetics They're real Mascara ( I like this Mascara, I hope they will have waterproof version for this mascara soon)
Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Brown
Darling Girl Cosmetics Bubbles  (a GWP)
Darling Girl Cosmetics Vicar in Tutu
Darling Girl Cosmetics after You've Gone
Femme Fatale Cosmetics Temporal Shift (lower lashline)
Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Eyeshadow Primer

I love how the Temporal Shirt looks at the lower lashline.
One coat of Benefit They're real mascara was applied here only.

I got the Rimmel Eyeshadow primer from ASOS.  Overall I think it is not bad, it doesn't crease though it does not enhance the colours.

Thank you,
Leira Yann

Femme Fatale Cosmetics - The Queen of Life Collection

Femme Fatale Cosmetics

I got this collection while the last sale of the year and the order arrived two days ago.
When I applied them on my hand with primer, I was surprised that they all beyond my expectation.
I love all the colours I got.

All of the pictures were taken with my Iphone 4s.

Amber Eyes, Crimson Fury, Flowers from Flames, Lady of the Red, Ruby Wings

The swatches pictures on the site are accurate and they are really so true to actual colours.

Amber Eyes - Pale coral with peach undertone.

Crimson Fury looks a bit red from the baggie but it is a gorgeous red-violet with purple undertone.
Flowers from Flames - Tangerine orange with gold shines.

Lady of the RED - Black with red sparkles.

Ruby Wings- soft ruby pink.

Amber eyes, Crimson Fury, Flowers from Flames, Lady of the Red, Ruby Wings

Then I was greedy, I used all colours from this collection for this look.

There was such a mess on the lower lash line, the mascara ruined the lower outer corner. Share it anyway!!

I love how Amber eyes looks on my inner corner.

I wish you all a Happy New Year! Love, Leira Yann.

I really loved this look as this was a fresh and clean look.

I used:

Silk Naturals Stick em' eyeshadow enhancer

Eyeshadows:
Chinovi Cosmetics
Buttercream - inner corner
Victorian Disco Cosmetics
Sailor Jupiter - Crease
Femme Fatale Cosmetics
Merrymaker - lashline  and inner lid

Eyeliner:
Canmake Lasting Creamy Liner (Brown)

From Left to Right: Diana, Millennium Falcon, Rini

From Left to Right: Pannier, Artemis, Ewok Pajama Party!

H.A.P.P.Y.

Though I'm not good on blogging, last few posts were fairly boring and I had wrote something that I didn't like. I won't delete these few posts as they also somewhat represented the worst part of my blog yet they are still part of my blog which I wanted to say there is nothing is perfect and there should be some imperfect and I accept these imperfect with 100%. As I was on super pressure mood that time and I needed to take care of my professional paper and working at the same time. I just think when I can't write something good, I should not blogging and I should just on hiatus for a while until I feel It's so happy to blogging but not I have to blogging. Blogging should be H.A.P.P.Y..

I never read The Hunger Game before I went to cinema for this movie. I was hooked after the movie and I wanted to get all the books of The Hunger Game. I think I am a little odd as my favourite character is the boy with the bread. I needed to get the boy with the bread from Darling Girl was my indeed thought after the movie. I really think that we must have a shade calls You Call That A Kiss, don't you agree? ^^

I used:
Eye Primer:
Silk Naturals Stick em' eyeshadow enhancer

Eyeshadows:

Darling Girl Cosmetics
Neomaxizoondweebie - A GWP colour (lid)
Boy with the bread(crease)

Eyeliner:
Integrate Liquid Eyeliner (Black)

Eyebrow:
ZA Eyebrow pencil

Mascara:
Maybelline the MAGNUM VOLUM' EXPRESS ULTRACOMB

I like the GWP colour and of course boy with the bread.

I bought this Maybelline the MAGNUM VOLUM' EXPRESS ULTRACOMB a month ago and I love the brush comb and it helps in lengthening. I personally prefer volume effect. I think I should just get back to

I have time for the books finally. Hooray!!! I really love You Call That A Kiss. I actually kept saying after the movie. Any volunteer to create this shade? Hehe^^ I would like to say I am back to blogging happily.

Love,
Leira Yann

It Is F.U.N - Silk Naturals Mineral Foundation

At first I was a little unwilling to try the Silk Naturals Mineral Foundation as I would need to mix the foundation myself. I was a little bit worried for how to get the right recipe and mix well. Actually i realized it was easier than I thought until I finally tried it.

First of of all we need to determine our base. Please read the recipe and refer here.
There is an easy way to start the routine of mixing the foundation with purchasing the Intro Sample Kits.

There are 3 formulas as the followings: (Originally from the site)
Perfect Harmony Foundation Sample Kit- Our original foundation formula that provides light but buildable coverage, and excellent oil control.
All-Puropse Ivory Foundation Sample Kit- A vegan and silica-free foundation perfect for drier skin.  It provides moderate coverage with a creamy finish, and can be applied either wet or dry.
Vegan Foundation Sample Kit- Great coverage and finish in a silk-free formula.

After trying the intro sample kits, I ordered the full size starter kits.

Full size Starter Kits include:
1 tablespoon bag of Medium Coverage Ivory
1 tablespoon bag of the tinted vegan base of your choice,
an empty 30 gram sifter jar
measuring scoop
a sample of Perfecting Powder

The full size starter kit comes in black organza bag. There is a guide to mineral make up printed at the back of invoice.

You may write down your recipe on the sticker at the bottom of the 30g Jar.

So I started with 1 scoop of dark - the base. I'm using the warm gold.
Then I added on 8.5 scoops of white. I found that it was a little bit lighter, then I added on 1/2 scoops of dark.
Then put the lid on it, make sure it is tight ans shake it until they are well mixed.
They're not that well-mixed after shaking for about 5 minutes. Please see the below picture.
Look! They're not that well-mixed yet.
So I used more effort to shake it until they're well mixed as the below picture.

When I tried the intro sample kits, I was trying with the original formula. I was mixing the dark: white with 8.5scoops:1scoops. The below picture is the sample intro kit. They look more darker than it is in the picture. For the full size, I ordered medium coverage foundation. You need more dark for medium/heavy coverage foundation.

Most probably Silk Naturals Foundation is the silkiest mineral foundation that I have tried so far. I love the formula and I can change the recipe if I got darker or maybe fairer. Silk Naturals mineral foundation will be one of my favorite mineral foundations. You may get refill packs once finished. With the price and quality, it is unbeatable.

I personally think that It is FUN to mix my own mineral foundation. Has anyone tried it?

Love,
Leira Yann

P/S: I will/might on hiatus as I need to prepare for my exam. Thanks. ^^
